No. There is a free TRIAL: creating an account gives you 20 upload-minutes and up to 5 clips per video, once, rendered exactly like the paid ones but carrying a small shortie.ai watermark. That allowance is a one-off and does not come back the following month, so once it is used the way on is a paid plan. You can also cut 2 clips without an account at all, and the demo needs no card and no sign-up.

Yes. You can move up or down a plan at any time, and your pricing adjusts. Plans are flexible and there are no long lock-in contracts.
